King visits Jordan Armament and Weapon Systems Company

His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), on Monday, visited the Armament and Weapon Systems company, part of the King Abdullah II Design And Development Bureau (KADDB).

Accompanied by HRH Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein, King Abdullah reviewed the latest techniques used in the field of small arms industry, according to the highest international military standards.

The King toured the company's production lines in the KADDB industrial area, and was briefed by KADDB Director-General Brig. Gen. Eng. Mohammad Al-Habahbeh, on all phases of manufacturing pistols, rifles and bayonets of all types.

His Majesty was also briefed on the company's first production of the Jordanian pistol and KADDB's rifles.

Concluding the visit, His Majesty the Supreme Commander commended as "excellent" the level KADDB and its companies have reached, through supporting JAF and security services with defensive inputs, especially light weapons
