PATIENT TRANSPORT AMBULANCE
The Patient Transport Ambulance is designed to transport patients not in need of emergency medical care between places of
treatment; a wheelchair lift is available to assist with patient entry into and exit from the ambulance.
These vehicles supply a basic level of medical support, including an oxygen emergency system, but are not normally built to provide
life support. However, they are fitted with flashing lights and sirens to facilitate movement through traffic.
