Complementing to the visit of His Excellency The Polish President Andrzej Duda which was carried out yesterday to the King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau head quarter offices in Amman, H.E. The President and the accompanying official delegation have visited KADDB’s Industrial Park site in Al-Mafraq Governorate at the Khalidiyah district on Monday, 11/07/2016.
H.E’s first stop was at the Jordan Light Vehicle Manufacturing LLC (JLVM), H.E. The President was greeted by H.E. Brig. Gen. Eng. Mohammad Al-Habahbeh the CEO of KADDB and H.E. Eng. Sachir Ajlouni the CEO of KADDB Investment Group (KIG) and the General Manager of the company. The delegations tour was initiated by visiting the production line of the armored vehicles produced by the company for the benefit of the United Nations, then followed by a tour to the production line stages of manufacturing Al Jawad fourth generation vehicle, which was recently produced by the bureau, and then H.E. was briefed on the production of Al Wahsh Armored Vehicle developed this year to be used for military purposes and security purposes.
H.E. also visited the Jordan Armament and Weapon Systems Co. (JAWS) to view the first fruits of this company’s products, a 9 mm Pistol, an Assault 5.56 Rifle, and military caliber bayonets of different kinds as well as adjusted weapons projects operating in the Jordanian Armed Forces; then toured the company's facilities and was briefed about the stages of production and listened to a detailed presentation presented by the company’s CEO about the procedures taken according to the product at all stages of production.
The Presidents last stop was at KADDB’s Show Room accompanied with H.E. Brig. Gen. Eng. Mohammad Al-Habahbeh briefing him while touring in the bureau's facilities about the multipurpose armored vehicles and the Armored Guard Vehicle designed for the use of border guards and other armored vehicles for military use as Al Wahsh armored vehicle and Al Jawad internal security vehicle, which were both designed and developed recently at the bureau according to KADDB's plan to provide security services products that suit their requirements according to their operational needs.
As for the Smart Systems, The President was briefed about the march winged and quad rotors which are designed at the bureau, and the jamming system (GPS GAMMER) which is used to provide protection to the moving targeted individuals and groups to provide a protective shield for them against the possibility of determining their positions by the enemy or drones.
